We would like to thank everyone for taking the time to register here at IBEW2325.com. This member page will be used to post mobilization activities, rally information and updates from the bargaining table. Only members approved by the Union office will have access to this page.
After the travesty in Wisconsin over collective bargaining rights and the ongoing battle in many other states, Monday April 4th, 2011 has been deemed National Solidarity Day. Organized labor across the country will participate in signs of unity. The IBEW and CWA will kick off their mobilization campaign on this day. Work locations in all states fighting for a new contract this year are asked to participate in a sign of solidarity.
The System Council T-6 is requesting all members to wear RED on April 4th. We are also asking members to meet outside their work locations and walk in as a group. This will not only express a sign of solidarity but will show the company WE ARE ONE and ready for a fight. We have notified members of this activity and have placed the information on the tape. Spread the word that this simple act of meeting as a unit will send a clear message.
The mobilization team has begun the process of ordering shirts, signs and buttons for our strike preparation. Stay tuned for more information on dispersing these items. There is less than three months till bargaining starts. You don’t have to do everything, but you have to do something.
