Regional Bargaining Report # 42

The IBEW New England and CWA District 1/IBEW Local 2213 Regional Bargaining Committees met with the Company today at the Rye Town Hilton in Rye ,New York.
The CWA District 2-13 / IBEWMid-Atlantic Regional Bargaining Committees also met with the Company today at the Rye Town Hilton.
The Company provided a portion of the information the Union had requested on contracting. It is the position of both Bargaining teams to bring as much work back in to the bargaining units as possible. There are many job functions and call centers who handle work that is not under our collective bargaining agreements. As we receive information through requests, we are able to locate and define this work. This is a slow and tedious process. The Company does not just hand over information. We rely on experience at the table and the knowledge of the membership to find this work. The Union is awaiting additional information and is scheduled to meet again tomorrow.
