IBEW New England and CWA District 1/IBEW Local 2213 Regional Committees agreed to have subcommittees, to work through some of the major issues. These subcommittee meetings will be conducted “off the record” to try and establish proposals to discuss at the regional table. Your bargaining committee will do whatever is necessary to obtain a fair contract. We are using this approach to try and get movement at the bargaining table.
Every IBEW/CWA member in every District and Local across this country must continue to fight Verizon and Corporate Greed. Every member must continue to spread the word that Verizon must not be allowed to lower the standard of living by stripping the benefits of their employees. Middle Income families in America will continue to decline if profitable companies like Verizon put Greed before their employees.
As your Bargaining Committee continues to meet, your Mobilization Committee will continue to meet and develop plans and actions.
It’s time to fight back!
