Good morning Sisters and Brothers,

I’d like to keep everyone up to date on what’s happening in the Local.

The voting for the ratification of the contract extension with Verizon closed last Friday and passed overwhelmingly, both in our Local and throughout System Council T6. Here in Local 2325, a total of 263 votes were cast: 242 voted yes, 19 voted no, and 2 abstained. Our Local represents approximately 550 Verizon employees, and with nearly half participating in this vote, your voices were heard. I encourage every member to take part whenever possible—participation in the process is what makes us strong.

We’ve also made updates to the IBEW 2325 website (ibew2325.com). New or updated tabs for Legrand and Movement Labs are now available, providing access to current contracts and MOUs. In addition, our “2325 Helping Hands Benevolent Fund” page has been added. This page will include updates on our charitable efforts, including food drives, toy drives, and our 2nd Annual Kevin Boyce Golf Tournament.

The golf tournament is now live. Any member interested in playing, volunteering, becoming a sponsor, or securing a sponsor can visit the website and follow the appropriate links. If you have any questions, please contact the hall.

Verizon members should be on the lookout for their Health and Wellness payment, which is scheduled to be paid out during the week of April 10, 2026. Additionally, members with college-age dependents may be required to verify their child’s enrollment status. To do so, visit verizonbenefitsconnection.com, navigate to the “Action Center,” and select “Verify/Review My Dependents Status” to ensure all information is up to date.
