Scholarship Winners, Executive Board Update & Important Reminders

Good afternoon, Sisters and Brothers,

The Massachusetts AFL-CIO has announced the winners of IBEW 2325’s three $1,000 scholarships:

• Paisley Hathaway, daughter of Michael Hathaway, has been awarded the Stephen Buckman Memorial Scholarship
• Nicholas Jalbert, son of James Jalbert, has been awarded the Mark Booden Scholarship
• Cody LeBlanc, son of Maureen LeBlanc, has been awarded the Robert Domiano Jr. Memorial Scholarship

Congratulations to all of this year’s recipients. We wish you the very best of luck in your first year of college. Winners can expect to receive their scholarship checks following the May Executive Board meeting on May 26th.

IBEW 2325 and the Executive Board would also like to welcome our new At-Large Executive Board member, Sherrie Virgo. Sherrie comes from Legrand and will represent over 200 members from the manufacturing facility. She is also the first member outside of Verizon to be elected to our Executive Committee.

Another important date to keep in mind is June 6th, which is the last day to schedule the previous year’s vacation.
