Brothers and Sisters,
All are welcome to march in the parade or cheer on from the sidelines as the IBEW 2325 Veteran’s Committee participates in the Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25th.
The parade will step off from the IHOP in Milford, located at 17 Medway Road, at 10:00 AM and will conclude at Draper War Memorial Park.
Members participating in the parade are asked to wear their red sweatshirt or Solidarity T-shirt as we come together in solidarity to honor our fallen heroes and support this important community tradition of remembrance.
Any questions, please contact Brother Mike Giroux at 774-573-9367.
As Memorial Day approaches, we pause to honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice secured the freedoms we enjoy today and reminds us of the true cost of liberty.
President Franklin D. Roosevelt once said,
“Those who have long enjoyed such privileges as we enjoy forget in time that men have died to win them.”
Those words still carry great meaning today. As union members, we understand the value of sacrifice, service, and standing together for something greater than ourselves. Memorial Day is a time to remember those who answered the call with courage and never made it home.
In solidarity,
Jamie
